Job title: Charity Support Specialist
Working hours: Full-time (although part-time working would be considered – minimum of 18 hours a week)
Reports to: CEO
Responsible for: Supporting voluntary sector organisations in areas of business, governance and funding
Salary: £35,000 – £37,000 FTE
We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated self-starter to join our team to work with local charities.
The successful applicant will utilise their skills and knowledge to work with voluntary organisations in North Surrey. You will be required to provide information and practical support with fundraising as well as governance and volunteer recruitment. The candidate will work alongside more than a dozen charities in a 12-month timescale, providing the skills they need to become more successful.
Working within a friendly and supportive team, you will support the CEO to successfully deliver the project objectives within agreed deadlines, coordinating with other team members and contractors as required.
You will need the organisational skills and proactive approach to create reports for funders and key audiences.

This is an office-based role in one of our local offices (Camberley, Runnymede or Staines), although the expectation is that you will visit organisations across Surrey Heath, Spelthorne, and Runnymede on a regular basis.
Benefits include an enhanced pension scheme with 8% employer contribution, equivalent to 5 working weeks’ annual leave a year, plus normal bank holidays and time off between Christmas and New Year. Private Medical cover on successful completion of probation.
