    It's that time again! Our Runnymede and Spelthorne Volunteer Awards will recognise and celebrate the dedication of local volunteers. We're delighted to be sharing our awards ceremony with Royal Holloway University London and we'll be working in partnership with Royal Holloway Community Action, Runnymede Borough Council and Spelthorne Borough Council.  Last year we had over 100 individuals receiving nominations in recognition of their amazing contribution to the community over the past year with several categories having joint winners. We look forward to more nominations this year.

    As ever we will have a judging panel considering all the nominations before deciding on the eventual winners of each category. This year our categories will include:

    Inspirational Volunteer Award

    Individual Volunteer Achievement Award

    Join a packed afternoon of entertainment, food, drink and fun at Englefield Green Village Fair - last year over 3,000 people enjoyed the sunshine. They've also introduced some exciting new additions to the fair including the dancing dog performance, as well as including some old favourites such as the children’s fairground rides.

    The 2019 Bisley Strawberry Fair Show be held on Sunday 30th of June and has something for everyone with craft stalls, refreshments, entertainment and music.

    Open to the public from 1.30 to 5:00pm the fair is a wonderful summer day out for all the family.

    The 2019 Show will be held on Saturday 10th & Sunday 11th August on Chertsey Meads and has something for the whole family.

    Open to the public from 9:00am to 5:00pm each day, the Show is a wonderful day out for all the family. Meet the people and see the livestock that bring the country to life.
