Admin Assistant for a Charity Supporting Children and Adults in Uganda (SP)

Opportunity is based in Shepperton supporting UK based project co-ordinator for a S.W. Ugandan charity.

We are looking for potential volunteers who are flexible and may already have an interest in supporting children and vulnerable adults in sub-Saharan Africa. They should be computer literate and have good written English.

Initially they would need to work with the Lead Trustee in Shepperton to understand exactly what admin help is needed and then they could continue with a specific role on their own if they wished. Help is urgently needed in Shepperton and days and times are flexible.

Administrative duties including:

• Update records in a database system, spreadsheets
• General office admin work including managing and responding to emails.

What skills do I need?

Potential volunteers should have an interest in supporting children and vulnerable adults in sub-Saharan Africa.

Experience of office administration and working with computer systems.

Reasonable computer literacy and good written English required.

Should at least be familiar with Word and Excel and using the Internet.
