You will be providing an effective and efficient generalist advice service to the public within the aims, policies and principles of the Citizens Advice service.

Citizens Advice Mole Valley, formerly known as Leatherhead and Dorking Citizens Advice Bureau (CAB) has offered a free, confidential, impartial advice and support to the people of Mole Valley for some 85 years.

In 2023-24 we provided advice and support to over 2000 clients addressing more than 11,000 individual advice issues. We provide advice in person at our drop-in sessions, via email and over the phone, including our Surrey Adviceline service. Our main enquiry areas we provide advice for include housing, benefits, debt, family & relationships and employment. Please see our website for more statistics.

Citizens Advice Mole Valley is fortunate in attracting and retaining high calibre volunteers who work as advisers, receptionists, admin support workers and within research and campaigns work as well as Trustees. Ongoing assessment of the quality of the advice delivered is externally evaluated and continues to be rated as very good. Assessment of leadership and management together with quality of service also continues to be of high quality.

Citizens Advice Mole Valley is under more pressure than ever to ensure we maintain high quality services and a physical presence to support a significant and growing part of the local population who require our services.
