Join our compassionate Amigo team, supporting individuals through their mental health recovery by offering companionship and community connections. Your time and empathy can help break isolation and rebuild confidence.
Your Role Includes:
• Weekly 1:1 meetings with your matched individual
• Gentle encouragement to engage with local activities
• Supporting small steps towards personal goals
• Being a consistent, non-judgmental presence
We Provide:
✔ Full training in mental health awareness
✔ DBS check processing
✔ Ongoing supervision and peer support
✔ Travel expenses
No Experience Needed – Just Bring:
• Empathy and patience
• Good listening skills
• Reliability (6+ month commitment preferred)
• Respect for confidentiality
