Join our community bike workshop where we:
Rescue and refurbish donated bicycles
Provide affordable transport options
Teach valuable repair skills
Keep bikes out of landfills
Key Responsibilities:
✓ Assessing and repairing donated bikes
✓ Training new volunteers in basic mechanics
✓ Preparing bikes for low-cost community sale
✓ Supporting bike donation initiatives
Location & Schedule:
• Based at Talking Tree Café, Staines High Street
• Flexible sessions (weekly/fortnightly)
• Ideal for Duke of Edinburgh participants (17+)
We're Looking For:
✔ Basic bicycle repair knowledge
✔ Ability to teach mechanical skills
✔ Passion for sustainable transport
✔ Friendly, patient approach
