Corporate and Investor Relations Volunteer

We are looking for an enthusiastic volunteer to help us create productive relationships with a range of local businesses. Such partnerships will help us to promote our work to a wider audience, tap into a range of professional skills to support our work and ideally develop some additional sources of income through matched fundraising, payroll giving and corporate foundations. The role will include:

• Networking and engaging with local businesses to promote our work and offering a range of ways they can support this
• Understanding what local companies can offer in terms of matched fundraising, payroll giving and wider charity initiatives
• Developing a range of ways corporates can support us (sponsoring a course, hosting fundraising events, providing professional skills, hosting a workshop)

What skills do I need?

• A confident individual who is good at networking and building relationships
• Familiarity with corporate policies around charitable giving / corporate social responsibility
