Cruse Bereavement Support (VSNS)
Help Others Through Grief with Compassion and Care
Cruse Bereavement Support is the UK’s leading charity for people facing the loss of a loved one. We're looking for caring and empathetic individuals in Runnymede, Spelthorne, Elmbridge and Woking to join our volunteer team. As a Bereavement Support Volunteer, you'll offer emotional support to adults, young people or children as they navigate grief and loss.
You don’t need prior counselling experience—just a compassionate, non-judgmental nature and a desire to help.
All volunteers must complete Cruse’s specialist bereavement training, which equips you with the tools and confidence to support others safely and effectively. Whether you already have a background in counselling or are new to this kind of role, you'll be warmly welcomed and well-supported.
You don't need to have counselling experience, if you do you would be welcomed.
Empathetic, patient listeners who are committed to helping others through grief.
