Radfield Home Care Camberley
Reflections Frimley is a lovely group of people with early to moderate dementia who attend with a family member for support. The group ranges from 12-30 people in St Peter's church hall in Frimley.
The group is lively and very family - they all know each other and have done for years. We play interactive games, sing, dance, chat and generally have fun for 90 minutes.
The volunteer role is being there to support the group by welcoming people, being a smiley face and joining in with activities. It would involve making refreshments and helping with set up and clear away.
Reflections Frimley takes place bi-weekly on Thursday afternoons 1.45-4.15, generally 2nd and 4th Thursdays of the month. But going forward 8 and 22 May, 12 and 26 June, 10 and 24 July.
Being a good listener, being empathetic.
Being a positive member of the team, willing to join in with everything and smiling!
