Runnymede DraughtBusters
Are you keen to help people reduce fuel bills and stay warm in winter? Runnymede Draughtbusters offer a free service to Runnymede residents, helping them to identify and fix cold draughts in their home and making recommendations on wider changes that could help to insulate their homes.
Volunteers work in pairs and go out to resident's homes to identify sources of cold draughts and remedy these. Each home visit typically takes an hour and a half to complete. The role offers great flexibility and can fit well around other commitments.
A willingness to learn
Existing DIY skills a bonus but draught repairs are simple and full training will be provided
Ability to travel around your local area
