Send Help is available to anyone, young or old, living in Send, Send Marsh and Burnt Common. We offer transport for hospital, chiropodist, dental appointments and similar. Transport for hairdresser appointments. Help with shopping, filling in forms, odd jobs. Telephoning lonely or housebound people.

What skills do I need?

A full driving licence and suitable car, a desire to help.

    Send Help does have public liability and personal accident insurance however car accidents are covered by the volunteer’s own insurance. The volunteer will need to check with their insurance company that they are covered for volunteer driving.
