Send Help GNS
Would you like to be a key point of contact for a valued community support service?
As a Duty Officer for Send Help, you’ll take calls from clients requesting help—ranging from transport to simple errands—and match them with available volunteers. The role involves a small time commitment, typically one morning (10am–12pm) a month, and can be done from the comfort of your own home via redirected calls. You’ll receive full training and ongoing support from an experienced duty officer, making this a great opportunity for someone organised, calm under pressure, and passionate about helping others.

The duty officer will record details of job requests, find a volunteer to undertake each job and then inform the client who will undertake the job
