S.I.G.N.S. (Stanwell Good Neighbours Scheme) (SP)
Be the First Point of Contact for a Friendly Local Service
Join S.I.G.N.S. (Stanwell Good Neighbours Scheme) as a Duty Officer and play a vital role in helping local residents get where they need to go. This home-based volunteer role involves answering phone calls between 10am and 12 noon, taking requests from clients, and arranging for a volunteer driver to assist them with trips to shops, medical appointments, or other essential journeys.
You’ll need to be organised, friendly on the phone, and confident in communicating with both clients and volunteers. If you're someone who enjoys helping others and can spare a couple of hours in the morning, this could be a great fit.
Flexibility. Supportive. Good Communicator. Adaptable. Good Telephone Manner.
