Dorking and District Talking Newspaper (CSVA)
The two Editors each have a copy of the Dorking Advertiser and go through selecting and then cutting out articles and letters for the Readers to read that evening when the recording session takes place. The editing happens from 9.30 am -11.30 am on Thursdays
The recordings are sent to the visually impaired and those unable to hold a newspaper.
Although the recordings happen on a weekly basis, on average, each Editor, is called upon about once every six weeks, and the hours will be from 9.30 to 11.30 am.
No specific skills required, just the ability to select items that will be interesting to the listeners.
