Funding coordinator volunteer

We are seeking an enthusiastic bid writer and funding source savvy individual to support us in sourcing funds, writing bids, coordinating funds and bids and ensuring they comply with each funder's specifications. This includes sending reports once funds are used, coordinating with funders, thanking funders and coordinating with our social media engagement volunteer to showcase our funders and what impact has been made. Through your expertise in bid writing and funding, you will help amplify our mission, engage with our audience, and drive meaningful impact.

We're looking for this role to cover the following:

• Identifying suitable funders and building connections and contacts with them
• Writing engaging funding bids tailored to each funder
• Tracking bid outcomes and reporting on these
• Monitoring funding trends and developing a clear funding strategy

What skills do I need?

• Strong written and visual communication skills
• Good knowledge of bid writing and previous experience in funding
• A good understanding of the charity's mission and goals.
• A commitment to the charity's values and a willingness to work as part of a team.
