Fundraising and Events Volunteer

Limbcare is a charity based in Farnborough, offering hope, advice and peer support to amputees/limb impaired individuals, families and others impacted around them.

• Contacting events organisers within a 15 mile radius of Farnborough and arranging a Limbcare stand at local events
• Organising fundraising events such as supermarket collections and quizzes
• Helping set up, run and clear up at events
• Contacting local companies and businesses to find out if they could help with fundraising for Limbcare
• Encouraging individual fundraising such as cake sales, marathons etc.

The role could possibly involve four hours a week or one part day especially a Wednesday and to include organising fundraising events.

What skills do I need?

This role would suit someone with a fundraising or marketing background. But the most important thing is enthusiasm and empathy with Limbcare's clients.
