Join a Local Fundraising Group and Help Change Lives Affected by Cancer
Do you want to make a real difference in your local community? Join Macmillan Cancer Support’s Camberley Fundraising Group and help us continue being one of the most trusted and recognised charities in Camberley and the wider Surrey Heath area.
As a Fundraising Group Member, you’ll play an essential role in helping us raise vital funds to support people living with cancer. You’ll work alongside a friendly team of local volunteers to organise community events, build awareness, and encourage donations that enable Macmillan to continue its life-changing work.
Whether you can spare a few hours a month or more regularly, your time and passion can make a huge impact.
What you’ll be doing:
Supporting or leading community fundraising events and activities
Helping manage local donations and liaising with local supporters
Raising awareness of Macmillan’s services in your area
Building links with businesses, schools, or local groups
Attending occasional meetings with your fellow fundraising group members
You’ll be supported by your local Macmillan Fundraising Manager, who will provide guidance, materials and plenty of encouragement every step of the way.
