Brighten Someone’s Day – Volunteer at Woodham & New Haw Day Centre
Join the team at Woodham & New Haw Day Centre, a vibrant hub for older people open Monday to Friday, 9am – 4pm. This is a welcoming space where guests enjoy social connection, gentle activities, and a hot daily meal.
What you’ll do:
• Support fun activities like Tai Chi, swimming, tea dances, and post-stroke gentle exercise
• Offer companionship and conversation to members
• Assist with serving meals and general day-to-day tasks
What we’re looking for:
• A friendly, outgoing nature
• Genuine interest in engaging with older adults
• Reliability and a warm smile
