This rewarding volunteer opportunity is open to women and men aged 18 and over, and is ideal for anyone looking to support their local community while gaining experience working with children and young people. Assisting with unit admin, including registers and attendance records
Helping maintain simple financial records for the unit
Supporting a safe, inclusive, and fun environment for all members
Encouraging girls as they take part in games, badges, and activities
No previous experience is needed – just enthusiasm, reliability, and a willingness to get involved. All unit helpers must complete Girlguiding recruitment checks and agree to follow the organisation’s policies and safeguarding guidelines.
As a registered adult member of Girlguiding, you’ll receive:
A membership badge and access to the adult clothing range
