Help our disabled arts company enjoy the Caterham Carnival!

Prospero Theatre is an inclusive company. 

Our brilliant members have been working hard on their procession for the Caterham Carnival and are really looking forward to taking part. 

We're now looking for 4 people to help us take part and have fun for each shift.

The event is on Saturday 14th June and there are 2x 4 hour shifts available: 10am - 2pm & 1.45pm-6pm

You can of course volunteer for the full day!

Approximate timings:

• 10am - Arrival
• 11am - Helping with costume (these go over their clothes - no undressing)
• 12pm - Accompanying members on the procession
• 1pm - Arrive at our carnival stall and help members to settle in here as their ‘base’ for the day

(The stall will have been set up by our early morning volunteers)

• 1.45pm - Afternoon Volunteers arrive at our stall (Westway Common)
• 2pm - Manning the stall or accompanying members around the fair.
• Manning the stall means sharing leaflets on what we do and light selling of what we have on offer (likely to be cakes and jewellery)

Those accompanying members around the fair will be briefed on how to support each individual.

• 5pm - Packing up, returning to The Arc. Volunteers with cars would be especially helpful

If you don't currently hold a DBS, let us know and we can start the process of getting one through for you 🙂
