Home Start Epsom, Ewell & Banstead (CSVA)
We support families when they need us most and help to prevent family crisis. We support families experiencing stress for a wide range of reasons and support them to develop their own family resilience.
Volunteers support families to get out and about in the community, to access other services and in the family home. Support is regular – normally weekly to provide both practical and emotional help.
Required for 2 - 3 hours, one day a week.
Full training is provided and out of pocket expenses are paid.
No formal qualifications are required, but volunteers must have parenting experience and be able to listen with understanding and maintain confidentiality.
Must be willing to make a commitment to both the families and to the Home-Start
Epsom, Ewell and Banstead for at least 1 year.
Must be willing to attend Volunteer Preparation Course (normally 5 hours for 4-6 weeks) with an additional estimated hours for at home online learning.
