Hub Volunteer Banstead

Action for Carers Surrey is a registered charity. We are here to help unpaid carers of all ages, right across Surrey, with information, support and advice

We have Carers Hubs throughout Surrey and are looking for volunteers, based at one of our carers Hubs, to provide a warm welcome to carers who drop in.

They’ll support our staff, greeting carers, making tea, having a chat and helping set up for events etc.

We are looking for a couple of hours a week commitment on a regular basis if possible.

You will help to support the Hub by helping with setting up, making cups of tea, making our carers feel welcome and supporting the Hub staff each week. There may be support groups, workshops and external staff occasionally attend.

You will be supported by the Sessional and Volunteer Co-ordinator and the staff at the Hub. Out of pocket expenses including travel will be reimbursed and you will receive training opportunities and invited to other events.
