Once a month, could you offer a child or young person up to 18 years old, fun activities and one-to-one time?

Surrey Independent Visitor Service needs adult volunteers aged over 21 to visit and befriend children in care who are living in Surrey, or beyond.

What you will gain from this role:

If you think this could be you, we are inviting you to attend an Online Open Evening where you will find out more about the role and how to apply.

To become an Independent Visitor you will need to complete our recruitment process which includes, attending a virtual Open Evening, and then two full days of training in Surrey.

But we need to recruit volunteers all over Surrey, and in the surrounding areas, so please don't let the training location put you off if it isn't local to you. We aim to run two recruitment cycles per year, so please get in touch for dates.
