Sunbury & Walton Sea Cadets (CSVA)
New year, New start, New adventures. You may be considering your New Year’s resolutions and what new things to try in 2025!
Well think no more!
We have the perfect opportunity for you! Why not give volunteering a go?
Now is an exciting time to get involved as we start to plan our move into our new multi million pound dedicated training centre.
Sunbury & Walton Sea Cadets are looking for dedicated people with a passion for giving back to their local community, especially when it comes to helping the young people aged between 10 & 18 from within it!
No experience is required, we provide all the training and support that you need. All we ask is that you have an open mind, want to learn a new skill or two and want to be part of a small friendly group of adults that are dedicated in supporting the development of our young people.
We have several vital roles that we need to fill.
The first one being a dedicated Training manager to help plan., record, book and administer our cadets training needs and requests.
We are also keen to hear from anyone that has an interest in mechanical or electrical engineering.
A great skill that cadets could learn a great deal about.
General instructors that are willing to turn their hand to teaching something new whilst at the same time learning a new skill for themselves.
Also on our wish list is anyone with a passion for music, as we would like to raise this profile especially whilst out and about, drummers & buglers in particular.
Do you enjoy being out on the water, well we are always looking for people to help bolster our waterborne instructor team.
Do you have a passion for cooking and baking?
Have been in the Armed Forces and enjoyed the discipline and skill needed to march as one! Then we would very much like to hear from you.
Maybe you were once a cadet yourself and now think it’s time to pass on the skills and knowledge that you learnt as a cadet.
If any of these get you thinking and you are still unsure if volunteering is for you?
Why not pay us a visit and see what we get up and have an informal chat without any strings attached?
You never know, you may just surprise yourself.
No experience required as full training will be provided.
