Marketing Volunteer

The key aim for this volunteer role is to advise on all areas of marketing and to help direct and shape Dyscover's marketing strategy. It would also involve chairing the Marketing Committee Meeting 3 times per year at our head office in Leatherhead. This would most likely be on a Wednesday. We pay travel expenses and have free on site parking.

Aside of these meetings, the role would not have set hours and would be very ad-hoc and could be done to fit around other commitments. Duties would include being available to provide marketing support and guidance to the Trustee board and staff members as required. This might include occasional meetings to discuss a particular topic or campaign (these could be done on zoom) or just a phone call or email to get advice/feedback on something. Eg: branding, social media campaign, a fundraising event etc You would be making a huge difference to a small charity.

What skills do I need?

Marketing experience with up to date and expert knowledge. Ideally experience with all aspects of marketing including digital. Excellent written and oral communication skills
