Queen Mary Sailability (SP)
Volunteers are the lifeblood of Queen Mary Sailability. We enable disabled adults and children to experience the relaxation of cruising and the excitement of racing in a safe sailing environment.
Being a volunteer with Queen Mary Sailability is a fun and fulfilling experience.
Volunteers are needed to assist sailing students. To provide a memorable sailing experience for children and adults who have any form of physical, sensory or learning disability, with the full support of their family, carer or guardian.
Sailability strives to give empowerment and opportunity to the best of each sailor’s ability on the water and we are committed to inspire all our sailors to enjoy the freedom to sail.
On Thursday mornings Special Schools sail, whilst in the afternoons individuals sail. We are currently setting up a Saturday morning Race Training group for 4/5 promising disabled sailors.
Thursday mornings or afternoons and Saturday mornings, April to November.
