As we transition into a Community Interest Company (CIC), we’re seeking a proactive and organised Secretary Trustee to support the smooth running of our bookings, communications, and documentation.


The Role
The Secretary Trustee plays a vital role in ensuring the administrative side of SMT runs efficiently. This includes managing communications around bookings for workshops, training, and talks; supporting event organisation; and handling follow-up correspondence such as feedback and impact reports. You will be the key contact for session logistics and a guardian of clear communication and record-keeping.

What skills do I need?

• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Confident using email, spreadsheets, and cloud-based systems (Microsoft 365).
• Excellent written communication skills and a friendly, professional tone.
• Ability to manage time effectively and respond promptly to queries.
• A collaborative team player with a commitment to SMT’s values and mission.
• Prior experience in admin, event coordination, or charity/CIC work is desirable but not essential.
