Standby Friday Delivery Drivers

This particular role is for standby drivers, as from time to time the delivery drivers at Loveworks are not available for various reasons and due to this fact Loveworks would like to have some standby volunteers to call on, sometimes at very short notice, the night before or on the day itself. Details of the delivery driver role are as follows:- 

We are looking for volunteer drivers to deliver food bank parcels to our beneficiaries in Merstham, Reigate and Netherne on the Hill. 

The number of deliveries depends on the volume of referrals and the capacity of your car and usually take a maximum of  two hours. However, we will always take into account your availability and preferred time commitment.  

What skills do I need?

No specific skills required. 

A reasonable size car.

Volunteers need to be able and willing to lift multiple heavy shopping bags.  Please note that some deliveries will be to flats in blocks without a lift.
