Local Conversation in Stanwell (VSNS)
Allotments are fantastic places to relax, enjoy the fresh air and be part of a vibrant community.
Individuals, families or groups can take part in activities at our award winning allotment.
A small team of volunteers have been working on the plots and we want more residents to get involved, so that even more people can enjoy the freedom of being outdoors, planting and growing vegetables and flowers, developing skills and making friends.
Stanwell Community Allotment aims to help residents make positive changes by developing practical skills and to benefit from the therapeutic benefits of gardening. Supporting a more active and healthy community is one of our project priorities and the allotment is a welcoming space for people of all ages.
We are funded by the People’s Health Trust from regional Health Lotteries and managed by Stanwell residents and the Surrey Care Trust.
