Surrey Libraries (CSVA)
Are you aged between 14-25? Spend some time this summer on something worthwhile and fun.
Surrey Libraries are recruiting young volunteers to help run this year’s Summer Reading Challenge from July – Saturday 16th September.
The Summer Reading Challenge is a reading promotion for children aged 4 – 11. Around 17,000 Surrey children take part every summer. Library staff very much appreciate the help of volunteers in enrolling children onto the Challenge, talking to them about the books they have read, and helping to run fun-packed summer holiday activities.

We are looking for volunteers to work at all of our branches across Surrey. Volunteers will be invited to attend a thank you event at the end of the summer which will include pizza and robots (what’s not to love?).
This is an ideal volunteering opportunity for young people who enjoy working with children and a great opportunity to put something glowingly positive on your CV. Plus, that #VolunteerFeeling is guaranteed.
You must be friendly, punctual and positive.
