The Salvation Army (SE)
Could you spare 45 minutes on a Sunday to either help set up or pack down the hall used for Sunday worship by Caterham Salvation Army Church?
We are looking for a team of volunteers who are reliable, trustworthy, and punctual, who would cover Sundays on a rota basis, between 9:15 to 10:00am or 11:45/12:30pm. If you choose to cover both slots on the same Sunday, there is no need to remain during worship, unless you wish to.
This volunteering opportunity is for a 12-week pilot period from 10 July to mid-September 2025, when it will be reviewed.
You will need to be able to work as a team. Lift and move books and furniture, follow a layout plan and be supportive of the work of The Salvation Army.
We will need some volunteers who have a valid driving licence and access to a vehicle to transport items from storage to the hall used for worship.
