The Walking Club
The Walking Club is seeking more Walk Leaders so that we can expand the opportunities for walking. We promote "Walk and Talk" to give people not just a chance to enjoy the outdoors but also to get some social interaction. Everyone needs a chat to solve their problems!
TWC offers free walks locally – our walks last 60-90 minutes, are circular usually on common land, 6-12 walkers per walk & finish up at a local café for a coffee and chat.
The Walk Leader has the responsibility of selecting the route, and ensuring all walkers are safely enjoying their walk, setting the pace according to the walkers’ abilities, weather and the terrain.
Our walks are scheduled and publicised on our website – TheWalkingClub.org.uk
