Time to Talk (VSNS)
Could you spare just one hour a week to brighten someone’s day?
Time to Talk is looking for friendly, compassionate volunteers to connect with people in Surrey Heath who are feeling isolated or lonely. You’ll be matched with someone who shares your interests, offering genuine companionship through regular chats — over the phone or face-to-face.
Loneliness affects people of all ages — whether through ill health, bereavement, retirement, or major life changes. A simple conversation can mean the world to someone.
This role is flexible, fully supported, and can fit around your lifestyle. You don’t need experience — just empathy, reliability, and a willingness to listen.
Be part of something that’s small in time, big in impact.
All you need to become a Time to Talk volunteer is an ability to listen, to be friendly and reliable. You will get full support to make your volunteer experience as enjoyable as possible.
