Letherhead Institute (CSVA)
The LIT maintains the Leatherhead Institute building which is a Victorian building currently undertaking some modernisation/repairs, in order to provide a community centre in Leatherhead town centre.
We need someone to take over the treasurer's role which would involve ensuring the annual accounts are completed, as well as supervising the day to day financial activities of the charity. This would mean attendance at the office once a week (at present Monday at 1 pm) but other work can be done from home.
A background in finance or relevant experience is desirable . Ideally with experience and/or willingness in applying for grant funding (for updating this Victorian building for the future) and an interest in local history and building conservation.

The office is currently open on a Monday afternoon only and there is a trustees meeting every quarter from 5.15 to 7.15 on a Monday. There is the scope to change though should Mondays not be suitable for the right candidate.
