Conquest Art CIO
Becoming a Trustee and Treasurer for Conquest Art offers a wonderful opportunity to work with a small, busy charity that holds art groups for people with disabilities and long-term health issues.
For more than 40 years Conquest Art has had untold success enriching the lives of people with a very broad range of disabilities - including bringing art into the lives of people with a visual impairment.
Conquest Art current Treasurer is retiring and they are looking for a good-hearted and good with money person who would like to work as part of a team and help in practical ways as well. No, you don't have to be artistic, but an appreciation of art would be an asset!
If you have finance experience, can empathise with people with disabilities and want to make a difference, this is a role for you.
The ideal candidate will want to be actively involved as Treasurer and attend Trustees' meetings. The meetings are held 5-6 times a year on a Tuesday morning at Head Office.
A role description is available for anyone who is interested.
