Trustee

The Cavendish House Trust (formerly The Monica Cantwell Trust) is looking for two new Trustees to join their small board. 

The Trustees are responsible for ensuring that the charity meets its objectives. 

The Charity will be formally changing its name and Articles of Association with the Charity Commission. It will become formally known as the Lingfield Community Foundation.

The charity will give grants to organisations supporting people with learning disabilities, physical disabilities, mental health issues and substance misuse in East Surrey, with a focus on Lingfield.

What skills do I need?

• Willing and able to devote the necessary time and effort to be an active Trustee;
• Have good, independent judgement;
• Respect confidentiality;
• Understand and accept the legal duties, responsibilities and liabilities of trusteeship;
• Help develop and share the charities strategic vision;
• The ability to work effectively with the Cavendish House staff and volunteers and the rest of the Board
