Age Concern Mole Valley (CSVA)
Would you like to join the board of a local charity whose vision is to improve the lives of older people in Mole Valley?
Do you have business experience, an interest in the issues surrounding the elderly living in the UK and a desire to give those who need a helping hand somewhere to go to get help and support?
We are a small registered charity for older people and have been serving the local community for over 75 years.
Our aim is to provide information and signposting, friendship, and support to reduce loneliness and social isolation and alleviate financial hardship.
We consistently achieve remarkable things with minimal resources and are often told we have changed people's lives.
We support those older people in our area who need help with completing the paperwork required to claim the benefits they are entitled to, and we arrange befriending relationships to ensure older people lead full, dignified and independent lives.
We rely on a dedicated team of staff, trustees and volunteers to deliver these essential and beneficial services.
The role will oversee the formulation and implementation of the charity’s strategic direction, providing guidance and support to the Board and team to ensure successful execution.
