Use Your Expertise to Help Shape the Future of a Vital Charity

Your Sanctuary, a respected charity supporting people affected by domestic abuse, is looking for new Trustees to join its experienced and committed Board. We are particularly keen to hear from those with professional expertise in fundraising, HR (especially leadership development or organisational design), or technology (e.g., automation, systems design, integration).

You'll be contributing to the strategic direction and long-term impact of the charity, helping ensure its services remain strong and effective. Trustees attend six half-day board meetings a year (on Saturday mornings, either virtually or in Woking), plus one annual in-person strategy day. Additional ad hoc support is appreciated based on your area of expertise.

What skills do I need?

We’re looking for individuals with relevant professional expertise, empathy for the charity’s mission, and ideally previous board or trustee experience. Leadership-level experience in HR, fundraising, or technology is especially valuable.
