The Sunnybank Trust is a vibrant community charity that believes that people with learning disabilities should be able to live without prejudice and have confidence, opportunities, and control over their own lives.

We are looking for individuals who can join our team who love gardening and would like to pass on their knowledge and enthusiasm to adults with learning disability.

Role specification


Responsibilities include:

  • Assist with the planning of the allotment plot
  • Assist the Choices Manager to maintain the allotment plot
  • Help Sunnybank Partners to carry out garden related tasks, e.g. hoeing, weeding, digging, planting, picking, watering etc
  • Ensure the safety and security of partners and allotment plot

What skills do I need?

Are over 18 and have your own transport Like gardening and being in the outdoors Working as part of a team Have good communication and interpersonal skills
