We are running a free hot meal service for those in hardship and are looking for additional cooks and assistant cooks to join our team of volunteers. 

The main cook will decide a menu and ensure the ingredients are available (cooking for around 20 people), they will take charge of the kitchen to ensure hygiene safety standards are complied with, and produce a meal to be served at 6pm on a Sunday evening for those who attend.



What skills do I need?

Requirements:
• Food Hygiene Level 2 certification (required)
• Sunday evening availability
• Compassion for those in need

We're Looking For:
✔ Cooking skills for large groups
✔ Knowledge of food safety practices
✔ Ability to lead or follow kitchen instructions
✔ Sensitivity to diverse dietary needs

  • Age restrictions
    Under 18s can only volunteer when they are accompanied by parent or guardian

    Where the cook needs additional ingredients those will be fully reimbursed.
