Briars Field Forest School (SH)
Opportunity to volunteer regularly at Briars Field forest school in Chobham GU24 8HJ during term time.
Hours are Tuesdays 9 till 11.30 and/or Wednesdays 11.30 to 1.30.
The role is to run crafts, art and gardening type activities with teens that are Emotional Based School Refusers coming from two local state secondary schools. They are delightful people to work with.
We need someone experienced with shy teenagers with low self esteem who can encourage and have good ideas with crafts ranging from clay, paint to wood and nails. Gardening is simple, planting and weeding.
Experts are not needed just kind hearted person with good craft ideas.
Useful to have knowledge of special need children and young people and empathy.
Ability to do arts and craft and help everyone join in. Be creative!
Not mind getting muddy or dirty but enjoy the outdoors.
Basic gardening skills. Preparing areas for children to dig and plant.
