Briars Field Forest School (SH)
Do you enjoy being creative, working outdoors, and making a difference in young people’s lives?
Briars Field Forest School in Chobham (GU24 8HJ) is looking for caring and creative volunteers to support term-time craft sessions for secondary school-aged teenagers who are Emotional Based School Refusers. These young people are gentle, shy, and often have low self-esteem — your support could make a big difference in their journey. You’ll help run relaxed, nature-based arts, crafts, and light gardening sessions (think clay, painting, wood, nails, planting, and weeding). Sessions take place Tuesdays from 9:00–11:30 and/or Wednesdays from 11:30–13:30.
No specialist qualifications needed — just kindness, empathy, and enthusiasm for crafts and nature. A background or understanding of special needs or working with young people is helpful, but not essential.
