"Be part of something brilliant – help create a proper village fete to remember!"

We need enthusiastic volunteers to make our annual Ottershaw Village Fete (1-5pm, 28th June) a roaring success. Whether you can spare two hours or the whole afternoon, your help will make all the difference at this beloved community event.

How You Can Get Involved:

  • Team Leaders (help coordinate stalls/areas)
  • Stall Assistants (run games, sell tickets, serve refreshments)
  • Gate Crew (welcome visitors and manage entries)
  • Set-up/Tidy-up Teams (before/after the event)
  • Bar Staff (serve drinks to thirsty attendees)

    We don't have one but do have event management plan, emergency plan and others
  • Ongoing support
    In the lead up to the event but not needed after
  • Training provided
    If they are being asked to take card payments or scan tickets then training will be provided for this
  • Volunteer induction
    We will be holding a meeting for all volunteers before the event and then they will be met on the field to start their 'shift'
