Volunteer Mentor (SH)

Surrey Care Trust is a local charity supporting adults, families and young people who would benefit from one to one support through some of life's challenges.

As one of our volunteer mentors you could help bring out the best in someone. The project will provide regular mentoring to young people aged 18-25 who are disadvantaged and may also be young parents, ex-offenders or young people who have not succeeded in education.

Can you spare an hour a week or more?  Our free mentor training and ongoing support is offered across the county and will give you the skills you need.

All volunteers that wish to attend will need to  have completed our volunteer application form before being booked on this course.

What skills do I need?

Mentors are trained and supported by the mentor co-ordinators, initially through a three day training programme and then through on-going telephone contact and regular support groups. 

Our FREE training will give you the skills you need.
