Use Your Media Skills to Save Lives – Volunteer Press & Publicity Adviser
The RNLI (Royal National Lifeboat Institution) is seeking a Volunteer Press and Publicity Adviser to help promote its vital work across Surrey. Although landlocked, Surrey is home to many RNLI supporters who use the Thames, visit the coast, or sail – and our inland branches need your help to raise their profile and attract more supporters.
You'll work with local fundraising branches to highlight their activity, events, and stories across various media. This is an ideal role for someone with press or media experience, or a recent media graduate keen to gain exposure and make a real impact.
We're looking for someone with strong media knowledge, an understanding of how to engage different audiences, and the motivation to work independently. Your role will help boost visibility and fundraising for an organisation that saves lives at sea.
Media relations, writing, digital communication, outreach, independent working, networking.
