The Tea Boat Project (VSNS)
The Tea Boat Project works to restore, improve and conserve the Thames Path between Staines Bridge and Runnymede, making it accessible for everyone. We enhance the environment through sustainable landscaping, planting and recycling, promoting native flora and creating areas for education, recreation and team building.
We are always welcoming to new volunteers at our informal weekly group sessions. These run throughout the year on Wednesday and Friday mornings from 10:00 to 12:30. During milder months we will also run sessions on some Saturdays. We open our charity café (Ari's) during volunteering sessions, raising funds and providing refreshments to members of the public.
There are opportunities for everyone - it's great chance to make friends, to get active in a great outdoor environment and to be involved in this wonderful multi-award winning local organisation. There is no obligation to participate every week or indeed for the whole session. Any time you can give will be well received.
We welcome all who share our love for the project. No particular skills are necessary. Full training will be provided
