A warm welcome can change someone’s day — and that’s where you come in.

As part of our Welcome Team, you'll be the first point of contact for our Service Users, visitors, and supporters. Your kindness and calm presence will help people in crisis feel seen, heard, and cared for.

What You’ll Do:

  • Greet visitors and offer a warm drink
  • Check for appointments or urgent needs
  • Pack and distribute food parcels and clothing
  • Help keep donation and storage areas tidy
  • Warm up meals when needed
  • Work alongside case workers to ensure smooth support delivery

What skills do I need?

You Are Someone Who:

  • Is kind, non-judgemental, and patient
  • Communicates clearly and confidently
  • Stays calm under pressure and can manage occasional challenging behaviour (support always on hand)
  • Is physically able to move food/clothing parcels
  • Is reliable, organised, and a team player

Requirements:

DBS check (we’ll help with this)

Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate (optional – we can support you to gain this)
