The Hope Hub - Addlestone
The Hope Hub supports teenage girls who for a range of reasons have struggled to regularly attend school. It provides a safe space for them to socialise outside of the home and build friendships and skills. As the group becomes increasingly popular, we're looking for more people to support the activities.
The group meets on a Wednesday evening from 5.30 until 7.30. Volunteers need to be happy to support teenage girls between 12-17 years. They need to be willing to join in with crafts, cooking and outings on occasions. Sometimes they made need to support young people on a one to one basis.
Volunteers must be DBS checked which we can arrange. As well as assisting with activities during the sessions, volunteers will also help with setting up and clearing away each week.
Friendly and understanding with a genuine interest in helping young people.
