The Hub Englefield Green (RM)
Caring and enthusiastic volunteer Children's Workers needed for Thursday Club working with 7-11 year olds from the Forest Estate in Englefield Green. Be part of a team and help create a fun, safe environment with constructive things to do, offering practical, emotional and educational support. With the aim of improving their self-esteem, helping with relation and self-management skills, grow in their leadership skills, teaching them to take personal ownership of their environment. The place where they live, their future and their interactions with others.
The club runs every Thursday from 6 until 7 pm term time with the opportunity to be involved in our holiday events including outings and community all age fun days. Can you offer your time every week or maybe occasionally. Come and make a positive difference on The Forest Estate.
Help needed with the following:
Volunteer person specification:
* Responsible and reliable.
* Bucket loads of patience.
* The desire to develop young people's skills and abilities.
* Be willing to undertake a Disclosure & Barring Service check (free)
* Attend free child protection training
