Launched in April 2021, the Time to Change project has worked across Surrey to increase the number of young people aged 19-25 years who are volunteering. One year on, the project has published a report setting out the impact that the project has made so far.

In the last year:

• Organisations that worked with the project saw a 53% increase in the number of young volunteers they recruited
• The project increased volunteers managers’ skills and knowledge of how to reach and recruit young people
• Ten ‘Recruiting and managing young volunteers’ training sessions were delivered to 90 people
